How To Make Lego Sweets – Video Recipe
We were going to label this recipe as one for the children, but who are we kidding this is for adults just as much! How To Make Gummy Lego Candy.
Think squishy, edible Lego rather than toy building bricks, and you’ve got it spot on.
It would be great for children’s parties, and other parties, but lets be fair you don’t really need a reason to make them.
This how-to video taken from YouTuber Grant Thompson’s page King Of Random is pretty easy to follow, and you will probably have a lot of ingredients in your cupboard already.

This recipe is for one mould so you might want to double it (or even triple it) if you’re making more.
• 1/2 cup of very cold water
• 1/4 cup of corn syrup
• 2 packets of unflavoured gelatin
• 1 pack (85g) of jelly
• Measuring cup
• Mould or a flat bottom pan to pour the jelly into
1. Mix the glucose syrup with the water and mix so the syrup dissolves.
2. Pour the liquid into a saucepan (don’t turn on the hob yet).
3. Add in the unflavoured gelatine.
4. Pour in the powdered jelly, (It will take a while to dissolve so keep stirring and stay patient).
5. Put the pan on a medium-low heat for around 5-10 minutes.
6. Keep stirring every minute.
7. When the gelatine and powdered jelly is completely liquified, pour into the moulds, but be careful not to spill!
8. Overfill the moulds slightly as they shrink.
9. Put in the fridge for 5 hours.
If you’re vegan and don’t want to use gelatin but still want to try this out, don’t worry! According to the post, you can opt for recipes that use Pectin, which Thompson notes is made from fruits. And you can even make them sour by adding citric acid or vitamin C to the recipe. Not only will it make the gummies taste great, but they’ll also have health benefits.
