I was born in SURINAME a country at the top of Southamerica. From there i know the Jamun Berry. We’ve got a big inhabitants of Hindus immigrants in Suriname and they brought the plant there in the late 18 century.
There was a Jamun tree on the back of the school yard and we usted to take the berries home. I liked the purple tongue they caused.
