Live in awe of nature in considered one of central Florida most sought after communities. Stone Island is located in Enterprise, Florida, on the north shore of Lake Monroe. The St. Johns River flows through the middle of the lake. The St. Johns is noted for its bass fishing and flows north to Jacksonville. Stone Island boasts acres of greenbelts that is a terrific habitat for our wildlife. You can see winding roads lined with beautiful oak, palm and pine trees draped with Spanish moss. We’ve got a community horse barn and pastures for the homeowners who like to ride, or for the residents who just like to go to and feed a carrot to the horses. We now have Tennis courts for the sports minded and for the boaters, access to the St. John’s River with a community boat ramp and launch. There’s a network of canals snaking through the community for canoeing, rowing or kayaking. The canals will take you out on to the river.
