VALDOSTA — Sitting at 4522 Inexperienced Island Drive is Southern stone island check grid field jacket Residing magazine’s 2017 Showcase Dwelling.
Positioned at Stone Creek Golf Club, the custom-made dwelling was designed and built by Wilson Design and Construction specifically for occupants Jim and Connie McNab.
For 21 years, Wilson Design has been building and creating properties, and owner Todd Wilson has been a member of Southern Living’s custom-builder program for the past 12 years.
His close ties to Southern Residing introduced the newly constructed dwelling to the journal’s consideration after Wilson submitted it for showcase approval, he stated.
“We undergo the design process where they (the clients) give me the needs and wants, and i design the home around what they need or want and what their tastes are, and in this case, we did it in the way in which that reflected the Southern Residing model,” Wilson stated.
“Whiteside Farm,” as it’s been dubbed, is the newest plan that Wilson has submitted to Southern Living, and it is the first to be featured as one of the showcase homes by the magazine, Wilson stated.
“This showcase residence not only demonstrates the qualities we search for in our CBP member … but (it) additionally gives back to the community by support of worthy charities,” said Kristen Bryan, marketing director for Southern Living, in a press launch.
One of the charities the house advantages is Operation Finally Home, a nonprofit organization providing “custom-made, mortgage-free properties to wounded and disabled veterans, Labor of Love animal rescue and Valdosta/Lowndes County Young Life,” based on the release.
To raise funding for the nonprofit, tours of the home are available till Jan. 21. The hours are 10 a.m.-5 stone island check grid field jacket p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon-4 p.m. Sundays.
The tours are to show the skill of Wilson Design while also affording the company the chance to further their efforts in aiding Operation Lastly Residence.
“We’re simply massive supporters of them,” he Stone Island Sale stated. “We simply wish to continue to support them, and this is a approach to do this.”
