Throup’s multi-disciplinary design house A.T. Studio collaborates across multiple industries and develops the conceptual clothes model Island New Object Analysis.

Presents ‘G-Star Raw Research III’ in June during Paris Men’s Style Week with physical models, this time also premiering his first women’s assortment. One of the six articulated sculptures is exhibited in the Design Museum in London as part of the ‘Beazley Designs of the Year Award 2017’ exhibition. Designs modular dance costumes for the ‘Autobiography’ dance work by Wayne McGregor, premiered at London’s Sadler’s Wells Theatre. The Kasabian ‘Are You Searching for Motion ’ music video which Throup co-directed is chosen as a Lovie Award Winner in the Internet Video: Music & Entertainment Category, also winning the Lovie Awards ‘People’s Lovie’ in the same category.
