That’s a part of the American dream, I assume! With foreign invasions on the mainland since our founding, it makes sense that we would build castles “only for enjoyable.”
I really like the Singer castle too! And you already know, Jesus did say that “In my house there are many mansions… if it weren’t so I might have told you.” 🙂

I love the idea of residing on an island…. in a castle no less! Definitely the Singer castle.
I agree– until you’ve a giant household or like entertaining a whole lot of friends at a time, it can be troublesome to be surrounded by such a huge empty (of people) building. That is why many castle owners keep it as a vacation rental or charge tourists for tours. Additionally they are commonly used as destination marriage ceremony places.
Thanks for reading!

Pat, I all the time go for saving what I have already got reasonably than spending what I barely earn on lottery tickets. Perhaps that’s how these house owners have had the funds to construct these castles in the first place!
Kendall, Magnificence and the Beast could be excellent in this setting! I did not even consider that. Now I will have to use your concept to describe this castle. Snow, mystery, piney wind… sure.
